Keeping a register of environmental claims: the EmpCo 6-step method

Crawl, lexical prefilter, AI qualification, versioned register, alerts, dossier: the full pipeline explained.

1. Crawl the website

Explore every public page, extract visible text, meta tags and alt attributes. Without an exhaustive inventory there is no compliance.

2. Prefilter with a legal lexicon

A versioned FR/EN lexicon spots risky terms (‘natural’, ‘neutral’, ‘sustainable’…) and classifies them by category and initial severity.

3. Qualify with AI, validate with humans

A language model justifies each verdict (non-compliant, to qualify, acceptable with evidence) and suggests a rewording. The compliance owner decides.

4-5-6. Register, alerts, dossier

Each claim gets a version, evidence and verdict. Expiries trigger D-90/D-30/D-7 alerts. The timestamped PDF control dossier is generated in one click, with audit log.
